🇨🇦 Volunteer Opportunity – Canada Day & Westside Daze Booths!
The Westside Celebration Society has invited our club to participate in two major community events this summer — and we need your help to represent Rotary!
We’re invited to host a free 10x10 booth in the Family Fun Zones at both events to share what Rotary does and engage with families through interactive, non-commercial activities (no selling or fundraising).
📍 Canada Day – Monday, July 1, 2025 Location: Memorial Park Booth Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (setup 7–9 AM)
🎈Includes family games, inflatables, foam parties & food trucks!
📍 Westside Daze – Saturday, July 12, 2025 Location: Memorial Park Booth Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (setup 9–11 AM)
🎉 Optional: Participate in the Westside Daze Parade (10:30 AM)
✅ What We Need:
Volunteers to help staff the booth on July 1 and/or July 12
A fun, family-friendly activity we can offer at our table
Someone to take the lead on organizing Rotary’s participation (planning, setup, coordination)

JOIN THE DINING IN THE DARK GALA DINNER
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening supporting an incredible cause!
When: Saturday, June 7th at 5:30 PM Where: 19 Okanagan Grill and Bar – Summerhouse area What: A unique 5-course blindfolded dinner paired with beverages 🍷🍸, featuring live entertainment (drummers and a magic show 🎶🎩), a silent auction, and a chance to walk the "black carpet"! All proceeds benefit the Braille Mountain Initiative, a charity helping blind and partially sighted athletes access the backcountry ⛰️.
Tickets: $150/person or $1200 for a table of 8
