Today, we pause to remember and honor those who have served and sacrificed for the freedoms we hold dear. Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and resilience of veterans, soldiers, and peacekeepers who have defended our values and security.
As Rotarians, we uphold principles of peace, understanding, and service to our communities, values that align closely with the sacrifices made by those who served. Through Rotary’s commitment to peacebuilding and supporting veterans and their families, we carry on the legacy of those who have given so much in the pursuit of a better, safer world.
Let us remember them today with gratitude and reflect on how we can continue to contribute to peace in our own ways, honoring their legacy and dedication.
