The Rotary Interact Club at Mount Boucherie Secondary School (MBSS) has decided to host a Bake Sale on February 18th and 19th, 2025, the week following Family Day weekend. Proceeds from the bake sale will support their first charitable cause, the KGH Foundation.
As the Rotary Sponsor Club, we’re reaching out to ask for volunteers to help by baking items such as cookies, squares, muffins, cupcakes, or other baked goods. These treats will be sold to MBSS students and staff to raise funds for this meaningful initiative.
If you’re able to contribute baked goods or would like to support the students in any way, please contact Queena or Willie (wfindlater@uniserve.comqq_queena@hotmail.com). We’ll ensure the list of contributions is shared with the Interact Club Co-Presidents, Caiden Gramiak and Sam Robson, in the weeks leading up to the sale.
Thank you for helping these young leaders make a difference in their community!
ALCOHOL COLLECTION FOR TASTE OF INDIA FUNDRAISER
We’re starting early this year with our alcohol collection for the annual Taste of India fundraising event! Last year’s event was a huge success, thanks to the incredible support from our members, and we’re aiming to make this year even better.
Our goal is to collect 100 bottles of wine and other alcohol. Please bring your donations to our lunch meetings and give them to Jane Tench, who is collecting on behalf of the club. If you’d prefer, cash donations are also welcome, and we’ll use them to purchase bottles for the fundraiser.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us kick off the preparations for another amazing Taste of India event!
